In the early 1980s, our story began with a passion for vibrant, natural color. We traveled to Thailand—at the time the world’s most important marketplace for loose rubies and sapphires—to hand-select stones directly from cutters and dealers. These gems were brought back to the United States, where we supplied jewelers nationwide. This foundation in colored stones shaped our eye, our standards, and our appreciation for craftsmanship from the very start.

Expanding Into Pearls: The Akoya Era
A pivotal moment arrived in 1983 when a trusted colleague invited us to represent his Akoya pearl collection. Demand for fine pearls was quickly rising, and the opportunity aligned perfectly with the market. When he later stepped away from importing, we took over the work—traveling to Japan to source cultured Akoya pearls directly from farms and auctions. Within two years, pearls became a central part of our identity and our evolving expertise.

Direct From the Source: South Sea Pearls
By 1990, our relationships in the pearl world had deepened. We expanded into South Sea pearls and began importing directly from farms in Australia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Working at the source allowed us to hand-select exceptional pieces, develop long-term relationships, and offer unmatched quality and variety. This period marked our transition into becoming a full-scale pearl specialist.

A New Chapter: Diamond Jewelry Line
After decades dedicated to sourcing and supplying loose gems and pearls, 2012 became the year we expanded into creating our own diamond jewelry.
